Biography: Irene Russo Krauss took her degree in Chemistry and PhD in Physical Chemistry. Currently, she is associate professor of physical chemistry at the University of Naples Federico II. Her latest research interests are the design and physico-chemical and functional characterization of ecosustainable formulations based on biosurfactants and biopolymers, such as proteins and polysaccharides, for use in different applications. She has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals and is involved as principal investigator or participant in several funded research projects
