Biography:

Rosana Chirinos holds a Ph.D. in Agronomic Sciences and Biological Engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Currently, she is a Full Professor in the Faculty of Food Industries and a Researcher at the Institute of Biotechnology - Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocesses Area of UNALM. She has authored over 70 publications in high-impact Scopus/Web of Science journals. She is a member of the Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals Research Group at UNALM, with an H-index of 29.
